The Operational Excellence & AI Transformation Intern will support strategic initiatives focused on process improvement, organizational effectiveness, AI adoption, and business transformation across IDeaS. Working closely with Operational Excellence leaders, AI stakeholders, and business teams, the intern will help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardize processes, leverage AI capabilities, and drive measurable business outcomes. This position provides hands-on exposure to business transformation initiatives while developing practical skills in process improvement, analytics, change management, and enterprise technology.

What you’ll be doing...

• Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Assist in documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes across multiple functions. Support process mapping, workflow assessment, and identification of opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• AI Transformation & Innovation: Support the identification, research, and evaluation of AI use cases across the organization. Assist with pilots, experimentation, adoption initiatives, and documentation of AI-enabled opportunities and outcomes.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, organize, and analyze business and operational data. Support measurement of productivity improvements, process efficiency, AI adoption, and business value generated through transformation initiatives.
• Project & Change Management: Support planning and execution of Operational Excellence and AI-related initiatives. Assist with stakeholder communications, meeting preparation, action item tracking, knowledge assets, training materials, and change management activities.
• Knowledge Management & Enablement: Help develop, maintain, and improve process documentation, standards, templates, user guides, and business transformation resources to support consistency and reuse across teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders across business and technology teams to gather input, support workstream execution, and contribute to practical recommendations that improve how work gets done.

What you’ll bring to us…

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or final-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Technology, Digital Transformation, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, business transformation, and enterprise technology.
• Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and summarize data and business information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings and present recommendations clearly.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on assigned deliverables.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
