Sr Associate Technical Consultant, AI & Analytics Delivery Practice

We're looking for an (Senior) Associate Technical Consultant to join our Consulting team in Asia Pacific. In this role, you will work alongside experienced consultants and architects to implement SAS solutions that help customers solve complex business challenges across data management, analytics, risk, fraud, compliance, AI and decisioning. 

You will contribute to the successful delivery of customer projects through hands-on technical implementation, configuration, testing and deployment activities while building expertise in SAS technology and industry solutions. 

As a Senior Associate Technical Consultant, you will:

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI and analytics solution opportunities
• Support the delivery of AI and analytics consulting engagements across multiple industries and business domains
• Conduct business analysis, data exploration, and analytical assessments to identify actionable insights and opportunities
• Design and evaluate analytical approaches, machine learning solutions, and AI use cases aligned with business objectives
• Translate business requirements into analytical strategies, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps
• Prepare client presentations, proposals, business cases, and executive-level recommendations
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering activities with business and technical stakeholders
• Partner with practice’s subject matter expert, Solution Consultants, Technology Consultants, and Project Managers to align business objectives, analytical approaches, and delivery execution for successful client outcomes
• Leverage AI-powered tools, coding assistants, AI agents, and automation technologies to improve productivity, accelerate project delivery, and enhance solution quality
• Contribute to internal innovation initiatives, reusable consulting assets, delivery methodologies, and thought leadership activities
• Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in artificial intelligence, analytics, automation, and digital transformation

Required qualifications 

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Two to five years of experience in analytics consulting, data science, AI consulting, business analytics, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of analytics, machine learning, optimization, and AI concepts and their practical application to business problems.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SAS, R, or equivalent analytical technologies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical approaches and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, structured analysis, English communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-engagement capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural, cross-functional project teams, with a strong interest in applying emerging AI to consulting outcomes.

Additional competencies, knowledge and skills  

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or client-facing project delivery environments
• Experience applying Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, or intelligent automation technologies to business use cases
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development assistants, coding agents, or automation tools to improve delivery productivity and solution quality
• Understanding of AI application lifecycle management, including prompt design, evaluation methodologies, workflow orchestration, and AI harness engineering practices
• Experience designing structured workflows that effectively combine human expertise, AI capabilities, and automation technologies to solve business problems
• Familiarity with agentic AI architectures, human-in-the-loop systems, and AI orchestration frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and enterprise AI environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience supporting business discovery workshops, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, or pre-sales activities
• Knowledge of model governance, MLOps, responsible AI, or enterprise AI governance frameworks
• Experience in financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, retail, public sector, or other data-intensive industries
• Professional certifications related to AI, analytics, cloud technologies, project management, or consulting deliver
