The Opportunity
JMP is seeking collaborative and creative results driven Inside Sales Representative - Overlay to amplify revenue impact across the California Core Accounts Team. In this role, you will partner closely with a Sales team, Field Marketing and cross-functional teams to design inventive campaigns, fuel high quality pipeline and support revenue achievement across the portfolio of accounts. You will also assist with renewal business, support active sales cycles and recruit for key events that drive engagement and adoption. By bringing inventive prospecting ideas, preparing teams for executive level engagements and strengthening sales execution, you will accelerate the momentum of our sales organization.
What Success Looks Like
- Pipeline Growth: Consistently contribute to healthy pipeline through inventive prospecting, creative outreach campaigns, and alignment with Field Marketing and User Enablement.
- Revenue Support: Help account teams achieve and exceed targets by aligning campaign execution with territory objectives and account strategies.
- Renewal Success: Assist with securing renewals by coordinating with Business Operations and Sales to ensure timely, accurate and value driven conversations.
- QBR Readiness: Ensure teams are fully prepared for quarterly business reviews with data driven insights, relevant content and tailored messaging.
- Event Recruitment: Recruit and engage customers and prospects to maximize attendance at strategic events and increase ROI on marketing investments.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the liaison between Sales, Field Marketing and Enablement to ensure coordinated execution that maximizes business outcomes.
- Innovative Prospecting: Introduce new approaches to outreach that capture attention, open doors and differentiate JMP in competitive markets.
What You’ll Do
- Revenue Alignment: Support Sales in achieving territory and segment goals with targeted pipeline building initiatives.
- Sales Cycle Support: Assist during active sales cycles with coordinated outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline progression.
- Renewal Support: Partner with Business Operations and Sales to secure renewals and mitigate churn risk.
- Campaign Execution: Design and deliver outbound sequences, nurture programs, and account-based strategies tailored to high value opportunities.
- Prospecting Innovation: Generate and execute creative ideas to expand reach and drive adoption within accounts.
- Event Recruitment: Engage directly with prospects and customers to drive attendance for events, workshops and executive sessions.
- QBR Support: Assist in preparing materials, insights, and strategic talking points for Sales QBR’s.
- Collaboration: Work cross functionally with Sales Enablement, Business Operations and Product Marketing to refine and share best practices.
- Operate with Discipline: Maintain Salesforce accuracy, comply with pricing, policy and approval matrix and provide clear monthly commitment with risk assessments.
- Elevate The Team: capture and share insights, refine strategies, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
- Experience in Inside Sales, Sales Operations, Demand Generation with measurable revenue contribution.
- Proven ability to support sales cycles, renewals, and campaign driven pipeline generation.
- Creativity in prospecting and campaign development with a track record of generating quality opportunities.
- Strong Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills; proven ability to partner with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, prospecting tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Bonus: Experience supporting account-based marketing/selling strategies and knowledge of Sales methodology (MEDDICC-inspired).

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree: Business, Computer Science, or other related business or quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of software sales experience.
- Demonstrated Success: prioritizing success, segmenting goals, prospecting, managing pipeline, strong campaign execution and follow-up.
- Solution finder: problem solver who is curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
Nice to have knowledge and skills
- Excellent verbal and business communication skills as well as strong listening skills.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics, develop sales plans and accurately forecast sales with a track record of quota achievement.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment and travel about 10% of the time.
