Within our EMEA/ APAC-wide Internship Program CareerStart@sas we’re offering a 6-month full-time internship in our Cloud Information Services Department as technical intern in our Marlow, London or Glasgow offices.

 

 

About the Opportunity

 

You will be joining SAS at an exciting time, stepping into one of our largest growth areas globally. In this role, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Support Regional Development: Play a role in shaping how we operate in the region, contributing to SAS’s ongoing growth.
  • Work with Diverse Clients Daily: Engage with a variety of customers, gaining hands-on experience across industries and supporting impactful solutions.
  • Support Service Offering Architecture: Engage with internal stakeholder across all teams, gaining service architecture and design experience, to delivering new service offerings in to SAS Managed Cloud offering portfolio.

The Cloud Technical Architecture Intern will be joining the biggest growth area in SAS Global. You will get an opportunity to be part of a team of specialized Cloud professionals who work with external customers to ensure that the SAS solutions meet and evolve with their business needs. Learning unique cloud industry best practices while ensuring that customers can achieve their desired business outcomes from their SAS Cloud investment 

 

Required qualifications:

  • You’re a year student enrolled in an accredited program.
  • Target majors include all the STEM faculties, Computer Science, Software Development and similar.
  • You have an understanding of Kubernetes and Python.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage your workflow and prioritize according to business needs.
  • Knowledge of software or applications development life cycle
  • Aptitude to learn and understand technical concepts, structures, requirements, environments, etc.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and direct the work of other functional teams across organizational boundaries.

 

CareerStart program date: Tentatively April 1 – September 30 (Dates can change slightly due to academic calendars.) 

 

Location: Our role is based in SAS Marlow, London or Glasgow offices in a hybrid work setting.
