In AP, one of SAS’ fastest growing, most diverse markets, our Global Business Development & Inside Sales Team engages in daily with current customers and partners across industries such as banking, insurance, government, telecommunications, and manufacturing. Interns will experience how regional business operations shape outreach strategies, customer expectations, and buying cycles. You’ll gain exposure to global sales frameworks while building hands-on local market experience across the broader AP region.

We drive pipeline growth through strategic prospecting, meaningful relationship‑building, and innovative engagement across digital and traditional channels. You’ll be part of a team that constantly experiments with new prospecting methods, sales approaches, and engagement techniques to stay ahead of the curve and deliver real value to customers.

As an intern, you might:  

  • Identify and target potential clients and partners through extensive market research, social media, and licensed tools to execute marketing campaigns
  • Engage with our customers & prospects to uncover their challenges and requirements
  • Discover and qualify potential sales opportunities.
  • Work with the team to gather and analyse data on prospecting campaigns, engagement metrics, and sales performance. 
  • Provide call execution for sales programs and lead generation campaigns and tracks results
  • Effectively initiate communication via the phone and email with key decision-makers and stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to nurture and maintain client relationships using a multi-channel approach to engage with both current and prospective customers.
  • Help with client engagement, follow-ups, and maintaining client databases to promote lead generation. 

 

Required Qualifications  

  • Degree Type: Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD (Note: Advanced degrees require HRBP approval)  
  • Targeted majors: Preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Public Relations, Communications, MIS, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Ability to build relationships and a willingness to make connections toward establishing a strong professional network 
  • A team player and collaborative spirit who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting market growth 
  • IF STUDENT PROFILE: You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program.  
  • Additional required skills/qualifications? You have experience in one of the following types of programs: PowerPoint, Excel, General MS Office
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.  
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.  
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
