The Technical Consultant Intern has a central role in the planning, design, installation, implementation and optimization of SAS solutions to various customers. You will be the one that sets up, configures and tweaks the software so that it runs as good as it can for the customer. 

 

As an intern, you might: 

  • Understand, implement, and communicate best practices and industry standards with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Apply the expertise you will gain in deploying and configuring SAS technologies, solutions, and methodologies to ensure timely, professional, and high-quality project deliverables.
  • Gain a conceptual understanding of client system architecture, performing administration tasks as necessary.
  • Contribute to creating comprehensive technical documentation, including requirements, design, test plans, cases, strategies, automation scripts, deployment instructions, administration protocols, and user guides.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of SAS technologies, products, and solutions by participating in ongoing training and enablement activities.

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Degree Type: Associates, Bachelor’s, FP/Grado studies.
  • Targeted majors: Computer Science, Systems engineering, Software, Statistics, or a related field. 
  • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program. 
  • Fluent in English.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology. 

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, JAVA Scripts and  SAS
  • Installation, administration of software solutions and data management.
  • An additional language—preferably German, French, Italian, Romanian, or Portuguese.

 

Location: Madrid. Hybrid workplace model, combining office 2-3 days per week and remote working.

We do have a great offices in Madrid (Sanchinarro) where you can work from which creates an inspiring working atmosphere.
