The JMP Documentation Team is looking for a Computer Science summer intern!

 

As an intern on our team you may:

  • Automate documentation jobs that create documentation and publish it on the web
  • Program in PERL, Python, and/or JavaScript
  • Script XML-related cleanup tasks following the team’s migration to a new authoring system
  • Work with the Documentation Team to contribute to the overall quality of the documentation

 To be successful in this internship, you should have the following:

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
  • Coding / scripting skill in any language, as well as a willingness to learn the basics of JMP Scripting Language (JSL)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Curiosity and passion for science and technology
  • Targeted majors: Computer Science, MIS, or Statistics
  • You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026

Timeline:

  • Applications open: October 25, 2025.
  • Internship: May 19, 2026 – August 7, 2026.
