About the job
The Customer Intelligence team is hiring a Prospect Development Specialist to generate sales pipeline growth through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and innovative client engagement for SAS’ Marketing Technology solution – Customer Intelligence 360.
You will engage in the execution of strategic sales and marketing activities involving prospective and/or current customers with a focus on prospect pipeline development and customer experience management in support of new business acquisition.
As a Senior Associate Prospect Development Specialist, you will:
- Arrange and conduct discovery meetings to qualify potential sales opportunities and measurable pipeline growth.
- Create compelling and tailored messaging, email marketing, and outreach strategies to capture the attention of new and existing clients.
- Execute prospecting campaigns with precision, managing various channels such as email, phone, social media, webinars, and virtual events.
- Generate, maintain and optimize leads, opportunities, and client interactions within our CRM system to ensure a healthy and efficient sales pipeline.
- Identify and target potential clients and partners through extensive market research, social media, and licensed tools
- Organize and staff networking events (in-person and virtual) to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our Customer Intelligence 360 software products and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients through engaging presentations and product demonstrations
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to create innovative lead generation and deal-closing strategies

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven history building relationships and cultivating a strong professional network
- Demonstrates a team-oriented attitude, sharing knowledge and supporting growth
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think critically, and develop effective solutions
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Previous Martech (Marketing Technology) experience
- Marketing/Customer Experience related background
