Job Description

JMP, a subsidiary of SAS, is committed to empowering scientists and engineers via our world-class family of statistical software products. For over 35 years, JMP has enabled customers to speed new drugs to market, to design better products and processes, and to figure out how to restore ecosystems. Advancements are made when brilliant people use JMP statistical discovery software to see what they’ve not seen before. If you are a problem solver, a connector, and someone who enjoys helping others, then you might just be the next person to join this dynamic, growing, and global team.

About the job

JMP is hiring a Marketing Manager.  This individual will report directly to the VP of Sales, Americas. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of field marketing specialists to deliver integrated, data-driven campaigns that fuel account expansion and customer growth across the Americas. You’ll partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure the field has high-quality leads, compelling tools, and impactful programs that drive engagement and measurable revenue growth.

You’ll design and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans that blend digital, content, events, social media, and account-based marketing strategies. You’ll also localize and extend global programs for regional relevance, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and engage with third-party organizations to expand JMP’s brand presence.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership — empowering others, modeling accountability, and fostering collaboration across marketing, sales, and product teams.

What we're looking for:

Strategic Leadership
Develop the regional field marketing strategy in alignment with JMP’s global priorities. Set clear goals, coach your team to execute with excellence, and measure impact through data-driven results.

Campaign Design & Execution
Lead the creation and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns to accelerate customer adoption and revenue growth — including lead generation, account-based marketing, and retention programs.

Sales Partnership
Collaborate closely with sales teams to align marketing priorities with pipeline needs, translate insights into targeted initiatives, and ensure message consistency at every stage of the customer journey.

Operational Excellence
Leverage marketing technologies, automation, and analytics to streamline execution, monitor performance, and continuously optimize for ROI.

Team Development:
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of field marketing specialists. Foster curiosity, creativity, and accountability while promoting professional growth and collaboration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with other regional and global marketing managers to share best practices, align strategies, and deliver cohesive global campaigns with regional resonance.

Event and Program Management
Oversee logistics and delivery of virtual and in-person events, ensuring a consistent brand experience that advances account engagement and expansion.

Budget & Resource Management
Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, balancing priorities and investing where the greatest growth opportunities exist.

Measurement & Optimization
Define KPIs such as MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline contribution; use analytics and attribution to drive continuous improvement.

Representation & Advocacy

Communicate program strategy, results, and insights across leadership levels — acting as the voice of the Americas field marketing team and championing innovation and collaboration.
