Maintenance Technician - Cary | North Carolina

 

The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm. This role will receive shift differential pay.

About the job

The Facilities team looking for a Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance job requests as received from an automated system or as directly communicated. Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks and repairs throughout SAS facilities. Follows all established safety procedures and guidelines. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm.

 

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Complete maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Schedule jobs during times that do not unusually disrupt normal business operations; may include working additional hours or alternate work schedules.
  • Perform general construction and structure repairs to maintain existing facilities.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, such as painting, caulking, cleaning gutters, and drain cleaning, by following established schedule.
  • Assist with office moves, move furniture, office equipment, and other heavy objects.
  • Assist department staff in daily routines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up.

Required qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in building maintenance in a corporate environment, or in construction.
  • Formal training or course work in construction framing, plumbing, or maintenance operations.
  • Ability to organize work and work independently when required.
  • Valid Driver's License in order to operate company vehicle.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
