The Cloud Managed Services – Platform Administration team is seeking a Senior SAS Administrator to support, operate, and enhance critical SAS environments for corporate customers. Our team is passionate about technology and works on challenging, high-impact projects with global clients in finance, healthcare, and retail.

As a Sr Cloud Platform Administrator, you will:
- Administer SAS Viya and SAS 9.4 environments in both cloud and on-premises settings.
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of SAS platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune performance (Linux, Kubernetes, CAS, Grid).
- Ensure security and compliance by managing access, auditing, and encryption policies.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and customer teams to evolve architecture and best practices.
- Support SAS 9 to Viya migrations, integrating with Cloud tools (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS platform administration (9.4 and/or Viya).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Solid experience with Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, containers, and databases (Oracle/SQL Server/Postgres).
- Knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and information security in corporate environments.
- Technical English proficiency for reading and communication with global teams.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Additional competencies, knowledge and skills
- Problem-solving – ability to diagnose and resolve complex incidents.
- Collaboration – ability to work in cross-functional teams across time zones.
- Adaptability – eagerness to learn new technologies and operate in dynamic environments.
- Preferred experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Preferred experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible).
- SAS or Cloud certifications are a strong plus.
