About the job    

The Corporate Services department is looking for a Landscaper to join their Estate team in Marlow. The primary team’s goal is to maintain and develop our beautiful grounds and gardens.

This passionate team is lead by George who is driven about his mission and who loves to nurture a true team spirit among his team members. Our office in Marlow being in a castle with impressive surroundings, this offers a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining and bringing the exteriors to live.

Please note that this role comes with a temporary contract which will run through a third party.

As a Landscaper, you will:    

• Assist in maintaining a quality, inviting environment for SAS properties.
• Conduct turf maintenance, including mowing, backpack blowing, weeding, edging, and preparing lawns for initial seeding.
• Fertilize and over seeds lawns.
• Properly prune trees and shrubs.
• Remove leaves from property, including blowing and leaf vacuum operation.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and bulbs as directed.
• Keep properties and streets clean of debris.
• Remove snow and ice from streets, sidewalks, and parking lots.
• Perform maintenance of equipment, as directed.
• May operate corporate vehicle to transport supplies, equipment, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required qualifications  

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory as long as you are eager to learn.
• Ability to operate hand tools, small power mowers, edger, weed-eaters, and chain saws.
• Ability to perform manual labor on a daily basis under various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow simple verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.  

Additional competencies, knowledge and skills

• Some horticultural/grounds maintenance training is a plus.
• Experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
