About the job

The SAS team are seeking a Facilities Administrator for a full-time, Lane Cove office-based, 12 month fixed-term contractor. Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, the Facilities Administrator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our office facilities.

 

As part of this position will be an exciting project where you will be acting as the on-site contact to support the closing of the Lane Cove office in time for the completion of the sale of the building due to take place in June 2026.

 

As a Facilities Administrator you will:

  • Support the office relocation project over the next 12 months, ensuring timely communications.
  • Act as the main on-site person, ensuring that the office is prepared in time for the sale completion in June 2026.
  • Arrange and induct contractor visits for preventative maintenance and ad hoc repairs.
  • Arrange catering for meetings, events, and other functions as required.
  • Assist with the setup of rooms for meetings and events, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning and food & drink consumables.
  • Conduct regular WHS inspections and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure the Sydney CBD office is adequately maintained and liaise with building management to coordinate repairs.
  • Maintain internal databases for office utilisation and workplace assignments.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Facilities Administration, Office Management or similar position.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of WHS standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using office software and management tools.
  • Full driving licence required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office relocation coordination
