About the job
Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE) is part of the SAS Cloud & Information Services department. CFE’s support the corporate data center infrastructure for over 47,000 square feet in headquarters located in Cary, NC as well as provide technical support for remote offices throughout the world. The CFE will be a member of the engineering team responsible for all aspects of the complex Data Center mechanical, electrical, uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Diesel Generation systems at SAS HQ.
As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you will:

Required qualifications
5 years of experience in Electrical and / or Mechanical engineering
Associate of Applied Science degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or related field.
Experience in data center facility systems, electrical, UPS, generation, and/or mechanical systems
Excellent facilitation skills, including meeting content/agenda and proactive/creative management of issues.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Valid NC Driver's License required.
