About the job

The Delivery Integration Services Team is looking for a Systems Developer. As a Delivery Systems Developer for the Delivery Services team in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division, you will be responsible for Delivery Integration Services in our hosted environments. You will work collaboratively with customers, analysts, developers, and implementation team members to deliver world class SAS service.

 

Our team is focused on deploying SAS Software on new Builds and implementing Add-On Integration Services in a varied and faced-paced environment. You will leverage your deep technical skillset and knowledge to provide technical leadership, guidance, and support for customer engagements through the implementation of Delivery Integration Services. You will partner with a SAS Cloud Customer Success Manager to work through any technical obstacles the customer may experience. You will build the foundation for ongoing reliability by defining key performance metrics aligned to the customer's success criteria. Through documentation, automation, and knowledge management, you will enable global teams to respond quickly and efficiently to operational incidents.

 

As a System Developer, you will:

  • Provide technical leadership and ownership for Delivery Integration Services.
  • Ensure that all current and future technical project requirements (tasks, changes, deliverables, etc.) have a clearly defined scope and can be progressed by the responsible service team without issue.
  • Enhance operational requirements to improve system stability, monitoring awareness and decrease operational burden to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure standards and best practices are adhered to and validated.
  • Provide knowledge transfer for larger teams related to their customer engagements and/or key technology areas.

Required qualifications 

  • 5 years of experience writing programs in Bash or Python
  • Two years of experience in end user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level consulting required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • Familiar with Scripting Languages
  • Familiar with SAS Code
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Works well with customers and SAS Teams
  • Ability to learn independently
  • Solving Complex problems based on Business requirements

  • Azure, AWS, SAS Certifications
