Summary:
Senior Engagement Manager- Risk Specialist is responsible for managing high-level customer engagements and driving services revenue specifically within our Risk Practices. This role will lead sales and business development initiatives for SAS Risk Solutions, leveraging a deep understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies. The Senior Engagement Manager will cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with customers and the software sales channel, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive message regarding our risk solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive business development by identifying and creating consulting engagement opportunities with customer stakeholders, focusing on risk management and mitigation initiatives.
Oversee and manage ongoing services engagements related to SAS Risk Solutions, while identifying new revenue opportunities through continuous engagement with assigned customers.
Ensure the successful implementation of risk analytics initiatives and programs for assigned customers through proactive management and support.
Build and maintain long-term relationships based on trust, credibility, and expert insights within customer organizations, particularly with key stakeholders in risk management.
Collaborate effectively with the Inside Sales organization and leverage a trust-based partnership with the Services Engineering division to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction in the risk domain.
Develop and articulate a compelling vision of SAS Risk Solutions to C-level stakeholders, positioning the value and effectiveness of our offerings.
Prepare and deliver insightful presentations to senior management (CXO) levels that highlight the benefits of our risk solutions.
Manage services-related revenue targets, developing opportunity pipelines, conducting risk assessments, performing cost/benefit analyses, and forecasting signed services revenue alongside resource requirements for proposed engagements.
Strategically develop and implement sales initiatives that drive revenue for software-independent standalone services within the risk management space.
Function as the Lead Consultant, managing high-impact service opportunities within strategic accounts that enhance both SAS and client objectives.
Oversee project management and ensure the successful delivery of ongoing implementations focused on risk assessment and management for assigned customers.
Continuously enhance expertise and advisory capabilities in risk management, maintaining knowledge of best practices and emerging trends.
Allocate 50-60% of time to be onsite with customer stakeholders, strengthening relationships and fostering engagement in risk initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Extensive understanding of strategic sales techniques, particularly within the context of SAS Risk Solutions, and knowledge of associated services, architecture, and resources.
In-depth knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies, with a clear understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in this domain.
Proven track record in implementing SAS Risk Solutions, demonstrating a strong grasp of risk practices and their applications.
Strong strategic selling and negotiation skills, with experience in analyzing territory dynamics to develop and execute effective sales plans.
Exceptional ability to initiate and lead projects, work collaboratively in a team setting, and operate independently, with frequent travel as required.
Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, showcasing strong decision-making and interpersonal capabilities.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Consulting Services Delivery, with significant experience in risk analytics and a thorough understanding of PSD specifications.
Strong technological proficiency combined with the ability to engage clients in insightful discussions regarding SAS Risk Solutions.
