About the job
You will provide consulting and implementation services, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, solution development, quality checks/testing, knowledge transfer, and project close‑out—both remotely and on customer sites. You will also support pre‑sales activities and help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction across the AP region.
This role is part of our Philippines Hub, supporting customers and project teams across APAC.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Associate Technical Consultant, you will:
Implementation & Technical Delivery
- Leverage strong hands‑on experience in ETL, Data Integration, and modern data management technologies.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize SAS technologies, including Base SAS, SAS DI, SAS Studio, SAS Visual Analytics, and SAS Viya components.
- Participate in requirements gathering, data discovery, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Independently troubleshoot issues in code, workflows, and data pipelines, and drive resolution.
Solution & Technical Expertise
- Apply best‑practice methodologies and industry standards in implementations.
- Maintain a conceptual understanding of customer architecture and take on system administration tasks as needed.
- Contribute to technical documentation (requirements, design, test plans, deployment guides, user guides).
Collaboration & Customer Engagement
- Work with cross‑functional project teams on consulting engagements and special initiatives.
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions (internal & customer-facing) as needed.
- Support pre‑sales with Proof of Concept, demos, and solution discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on implementation experience in data management, ETL, data warehousing, or analytics delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.
- Strong hands‑on experience with:
- ETL / Data Integration (SAS DI preferred)
- SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Foundational to intermediate experience with Base SAS and SAS programming.
- Exposure to SAS Viya, SAS Studio, SAS Visual Analytics, or SAS Visual Investigator.
- Working knowledge of Python and Java.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast‑paced project environments.
- English proficiency required.
- Willingness to travel based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
- SAS Certification (e.g., Base SAS Programmer, SAS DI Developer).
- Experience with SAS Intelligent Decisioning and/or SAS industry solutions such as:
- SAS SFM (Fraud Management)
- SAS SFDS
- SAS AML
- SAS Risk Solutions
- Experience with DS2, Kafka, or BOSS.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience across full project lifecycle (requirements → design → build → testing → deployment).
- Mandarin or Japanese language proficiency (good to have, but not required).
