About the job

Our Marlow-based legal team is seeking a recent law graduate to join us as an Associate Legal Specialist in Ethics and Compliance. You'll play a vital role in our team responsible for anti-bribery/anti-corruption, trade and export, and anti-trust compliance at SAS. We also support regulatory compliance areas such as ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and promote an ethical culture through the Speak Up Program.  Please note that this is a 6 month fixed term contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct due diligence and restricted party reviews.
• Review gifting, conflicts of interest, and high-risk corporate expenditures.
• Work with Sales and attorneys for know-your-customer due diligence.
• Assist with trade and export functions, including reporting and anti-boycott reports.
• Support risk assessments, standards creation, data review, and training.
• Provide investigation support for the Speak Up Program.
• Monitor and audit systems and data
• Assist in developing and improving compliance systems.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Recent law graduate preferred
• Paralegal or compliance certificate preferred but not required
